Daniel’s Story

For me, becoming an apprentice was an easy choice. Despite achieving well at sixth form, full-time education never really suited my personality, so university didn’t feel like the right pathway for me.

An Apprenticeship with The Co-operative appealed as I wasn’t ready to fully leave education, but I did want to start earning. Becoming an apprentice funeral director has allowed me to pursue a career where I could really make a difference in people’s lives, whilst facing new challenges on a day-to-day basis as an Apprentice Funeral Director.
